The Musical Memories Story
Experiencing music’s transformative impact while performing with my friend, Ben Cooper, for his mother with late-stage dementia in a memory care setting, inspired the creation of Musical Memories Foundation.
I witnessed first-hand how music transcends cognitive and physical challenges, sparks memories, evokes speech, movement, and emotion, and breaks through barriers, reaching those who may often otherwise be unreachable.
This profound experience ignited my passion, fueled my purpose, and led to a decision to advance accessibility to high-quality live musical performances and programs to seniors, enhancing quality of life, for the rest of mine.
